Come discover the exceptionnal mountain trails of the Palissades. Only 12 km from St-Siméon in Charlevoix on road 170.


SUMMARY
While crossing our trails, you will discover a glaciar lake, unique vegetable species like the " sabot de la vièrge ", diversified forests like tundra, impressing scree of 4km long from witch you can see the great St-Laurent's River and thee meanders of the Rivière Noire.

LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY
The trails in the Palissades are accessible to everyone. Its level of difficulty goes from easy to intermediary. Experts can also be satisfied since they can access the Orignac national trail for long excursions.

7 days a week
from 9h00 to 17h00

RESERVATION
No reservation is necessary for the excursions and climbing but all the other activities (Via ferrata, lodging) has to be reserved by phone. We ask a 25% deposit (Visa or MasterCard). The total price will be charged even if you do not show up. During the activity, the total amount has to be payed cash or by check to L'ASCENSATION.

WHAT TO BRING
Sport shoes, pale shirt and hat, bug repelant, a water bottle, swiming suit, camera, etc.

  Description : Interpretation walk on gravel, observation of historical erratic blocs and a view-point on a marsh and a glaciar lake, the Lac à Jean.
Le Pierrier HARD 1 km 40 minutes
  Description : A steep walk on a scree, unique in Québec, exceptionnal view.
Le Sylvain Easy 3,5 km 1h30
  Description : Beautiful forest walk with a water supply at the cascade before climbing the " buton " that gives a nice 360° view.
L’Aigle Easy 4,7 km 2 hours
  Description : A classic in Charlevoix's area, It is a nice buckle that is really well known for its panoramic views. It starts with an easy climb of the Palissades (215m), then you encounter a few aerial view-points. It ends in a refreshing and mysterious microclimate.
Le Rocher perdu Easy 1,4 km 1 hour
  Description : The Rocher Perdu trail is unique because you go through a surprising variety of different natural areas.
Les Cascades Easy 0,5 km 30 minutes
  Description : This small section goes up by the cascades and offers a small alternative to the Sentier de L'aigle. A delight for your ears!
