Since 1980, François-Guy Thivierge and is team of guides practice and teach ice-climbing and mountaineering at the Montmorency fall park.
Internationally renown, Montmorency Fall Park offers one of the most beautiful ice falls in the east of America. The exceptional conditions are always at the "rendezvous" from the first days of January until mid-March. At only 10 minutes from Québec City down town and an easy 5 minutes walk access on a flat terrain, its South East face is protected from the wind and its height is 83 metres.
