Its origin
The canopy circuits exist since 1843 and are extremely popular in Mexico and in South America. The " canopy " expression refers to the movement from a tree to another, using rope bridges, pulleys and aerial terraces.
Inspired by the " canopy " concept, the popular Via Ferrata in Europe and the modern climbing techniques, François-Guy Thivierge, Québec's specialist in adventure activities regrouped all these ideas on a fantastic natural site for this unique formula: the Canopy Canyon Adventure.
